Kate DeVries

Kate is a graduate of Blue Heron Academy, Class of 2007. She studied and passed the 1200 Hour Medical Massage program and has been Practicing in the Massage industry since 2007. She is National Board Certified and Licensed by the State of Michigan. Kate is also certified in Hot Stone Massage, Bamboo-fusion Massage and Medi-Cupping. She is dedicated to her practice, to her clients and is always striving to provide the best services possible. Along with her own private practice she works with the Alfieri Family Chiropractic Center. Her goal is to grow her practice into a full service Massage & Spa Facility.

Massage Therapy is more than just rubbing muscles. Massage is a healing art, it's a time of health management and relaxation. Massage helps you learn your body and what it needs. Therapeutic touch, someone to talk to, a time of quiet, and most importantly, a time to put yourself first!

The reason I became a massage therapist was so that I could help others to help themselves. To find healing and become more self-aware. The biggest reason that I continue to be a massage therapist is because I go home everyday from work knowing that I was appreciated today! My clients become a part of my family...those I care about and I am concerned about their health and healing.

Outside of Massage, I love going to the beach, watching sunsets, looking for beach glass and fossils. I'm an animal lover. I enjoy music and good food. Singing Karaoke is my favorite hobby, not that I have a lot of time for it lately. I'm married to a wonderful man...looking forward to having our own family someday. Time with Family and Friends is well spent! I am an active member of my church and I love the Lord! I am truly blessed beyond words with the gifts for massage that He has given me.
